Often styles from 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s and even 90’s are patterns you may want to find. Many styles repeat themselves over time but finding the original patterns is a real coo. Both children’s styles and women’s are worth finding. There are some great sun tops that you can not find anymore as well as dresses and jumpers for kids.
Now where to find these patterns? One place is Hobby Lobby who has several vintage patterns. Other great places to find them are garage sales, estate sales, and flea markets. You would be surprised how many are found just by accident. The price is well worth the search at garage sales, flea markets and estate sales.
Also ask your mother and her friends if they have any old patterns you could look through.
These are all well worth the look to find that pattern you find that has just that right look you were longing for.
While you are looking keep your eyes pealed for fabric remnants that might complete your outfit.
