How To Sew Boy Style Panties w/ Lace

To sew boy style panties we will begin with picking out your favorite panty that fits well.

  1. Lay the panty out flat with front facing you.
  2. Now fold the panty in half with front sides together.
  3. Notice the side that is folded because you will cut that piece on the fold.
  4. Take a piece of paper or butcher block paper and trace the outline of your folded panty.(be sure and leave a ⅝” seam allowance on the crotch and short side)
  5. Be sure and trace the leg opening how you would like it. If this panty you are using is exactly what you like then follow the contour of the panty so the fit will be good.
  6. Cut out your pattern (be sure and use sharp fabric scissors).
  7. You will need approximately 1 yard of stretchy lace fabric.
  8. Lay the pattern on the fabric. (be sure to remember that the one side is to be placed on the fold and cut two pieces.
  9. Now unfold your pieces and lay them one on top of the other flat on your table.
  10. Sew the crotch and two sides with ⅝” seam.
  11. Dwella… your panty is finished and with using the stretchy lace it should fit just right.
