You can always use an extra bag. And one especially for Halloween will be great for each child. And now you have the instructions to make a bag for any occasion.
Items you will need:
1. 40″ x 22″ rectangle print Halloween fabric
2. Sewing Scissors
3. Sewing Thread
4. 22″ x 3″ strap of same or contrast fabric
5. Sewing pins
Instructions on how to sew:
1. Sew a 3/4″ folded, pinned edge on all sides of the rectangle.
2. Place wrong sides together
And fold the rectangle in half.
3. Pin the sides together.
4. Top stitch the sides of the rectangle 1/2″ from sides.
5. Take the strap and fold it length wise in half.
6. Iron the strap and fold in all edges 1/2″.
7. Top stitch the folded, ironed edge a presser foot from the folded edge.
8. Now place the strap on the inside of the bag. One strap on each side and make sure it is not twisted. And pin.
9. Stitch the strap to the bag on the same line you stitch before.
Now you have a Halloween Bag ready to take Trick-or-Treating. And other fabrics can be used for other occasions.
