How to Sew a Bean Bag or Hacky Sack

My grandson likes to keep busy. He came up with this project while I was sewing on another project.

Items you need:

Scrap material

Bandana

Needle

Thread

Uncooked beans

How to make:

Cut out two pieces of material in the shape of an oval or egg.

Next put the wrong sides together.

Sew ΒΌ” from the edge all around the egg leaving an inch to insert the uncooked beans.

Then sew the 1 inch hole shut with the same in and out stitch you sewed the rest of it with.

There you have the bean bag completed and ready to play.

Now you make the hacky sack the same way…just a smaller piece of material.

I thought this was a great project that my grandson completed.
